MWS Reauthorization Procedure
Each year, Amazon requires you to
reauthorize SpaceWare (AMan) to collect data on your behalf. You should have
received an email from Amazon regarding this prior to the required
reauthorization
date (see below for a typical email).
You will need to
follow the steps in the email that Amazon sent you. Specifically the steps are:
1. Logon
to Seller Central using your browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer,
Edge).
2. Click
on Settings->User Permissions.
3. Scroll
down to the ‘Third Party developer and apps’ section and click on ‘Visit Manage
Your Apps’.
4. In
the list that is displayed, you should see SpaceWare and to the right of
it there should be a RENEW or ENABLE button.
5. If
you see
ENABLE,
click on
ENABLE.
The
RENEW button should then be visible.
Click on that and follow the dialog that is presented.
6. If
you see
RENEW,
simply click on that and follow the dialog that is presented.
Once you have completed the above procedure, you should
restart AMan. Please also note that it may take some time for Amazon to
reactivate the reauthorization.
Note:
If you have received an alert about
this and have not done the steps above recently, the procedure should be done
ASAP. Failure to do so will cause AMan to be unable to get orders, inventory or
to reprice/list. Example of email from Amazon:
Action is required by you to renew your authorization to enable software
applications from SpaceWare to access your Amazon selling account on your
behalf using Amazon Marketplace Web Service. This might impact your Amazon
integration, including your Amazon Pay integration if you have one.
For your security, we periodically contact you to confirm that only software
application providers with whom you are actively working are allowed to
access your Amazon selling account data on your behalf.
The provider
listed below has access to your account. That access will expire on
2020-02-15.
Please either renew or revoke this access to your account
by using the Amazon MWS Developer Permissions section of the User
Permissions page in Seller Central. You can access this page at any time by
signing into Seller Central and selecting User Permissions in the Settings
menu. If you do not renew the developer’s access before the expiration date
then that access will be suspended and their software will no longer access
your data. You can re-authorize suspended access from User Permissions page.
